What is SDP

A software-defined perimeter (SDP), also called a "black cloud". A way t hide internet-connected infrastructure (servers, routers, etc.) to prevent external parties and attackers from detecting it, whether it's hosted on-premise or in the cloud.

SDP vs VPN

The key differences between SDP and VPN are:

Authentication - VPNs typically use simple authentication methods, such as a username and password. SDP uses more advanced authentication methods, such as multi-factor authentication, to ensure that only authorized users can access the network.

Network Segmentation - VPNs allow users to access the entire network once they are authenticated. SDP creates peer-to-peer network connections between devices and resources through encrypted traffic tunnels, and access is granted only to the resources and data that users need for their job.

Scalability - SDP is more scalable than VPN because it can handle a large number of users and devices with ease.

Performance - SDP is faster and more reliable than VPN

How the device authenticates

SDP implements Multifactor authentication, including a software token generated when a device connects to the network for the first time. This token may include the device's personal identification number, serial number, and other unique identifiers, ensuring only authorized devices can access the network.

How the user authenticates

users are authenticated with credentials beyond the traditional login and password. May Includes geolocation, biometrics, and other data to authenticate the user further and ensure secure access to the network

Does my data pass your servers? Do you see or collect my data?

Our system uses advanced Direct Link Technology to establish encrypted peer-to-peer tunnel connections between devices directly. We cannot see, process, or collect any data transmitted. The only data we receive would be your user info when you sign up for the account. Moreover, we use it according to our privacy agreement.

Is izzbie ONE a VPN router?

No, izzbie ONE is not a router. It is an SDP enabled gateway that connects to your router at home and creates a private tunnel for you to connect to your home network through the izzbie app.
It's a lot easier to set up and use than VPN router. Once you link up the izzbie ONE device with your user account, you would be able to connect to it using any device that runs on Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS using the izzbie app.

What is izzbie network

Izzbie network is a Software Defined Perimeters solution that conceals internet-connected infrastructure, such as servers and routers, so that external entities cannot see them, whether they are hosted on-premises or in the cloud. Unlike traditional, network-based security solutions, SDP takes a different approach, securing the user, the application, and the connectivity in-between. The goal of izzbie SDP is to base the network perimeter on software instead of hardware, providing a robe of invisibility over servers and internal resources to prevent external entities from accessing them. However, authorized users can still see and access these resources, subject to authentication and access control policies.
